Polyvinyl chloride (PVC

PVC is divided into soft and hard:

Polyethylene (PE

It has good cold resistance and is divided into high pressure, medium pressure and low pressure polyethylene. High pressure polyethylene is flexible; Low pressure polyethylene is hard- It remains soft at 70 ℃. High chemical stability, resistant to acid, alkali and organic flux. It has outstanding electrical performance and good radiation resistance. The flame spraying method or electrostatic spraying method can be applied to the metal surface to reduce friction and prevent corrosion. The disadvantages are that the mechanical strength is not high and the thermal deformation temperature is very low, so it can not bear high load.

Purpose (pallet):

Chemical corrosion-resistant pipes, valves, bushings, roller frames, and corrosion-resistant linings for chemical equipment and storage tanks. Instead of copper and stainless steel. Insulation layer of high-frequency underwater cable or general cable. Transistor radio magnetic rod antenna holder.

Polystyrene (PS

Performance:

The chemical stability and electrical performance are excellent, and it has certain mechanical strength. It has good light transmittance, good coloring property and is easy to form. It is characterized by almost complete water resistance, low heat resistance and brittleness. Moreover, its products are easy to crack due to internal stress and can only be used under low load and low temperature (60 75 ℃).

Purpose:

Skeleton, instrument indicator light and various instrument housings. Lampshade, automobile lampshade, chemical acid storage tank (wooden box) and acid transmission tank (especially hydrofluoric acid) are chemical instrument parts and telecommunication parts. Because of good transparency, they can be used as optical instrument parts and lenses.
